At Ramlila Maidan, Arvind Kejriwal said it’s a miracle that people from all caste and class voted for AAP in such huge numbers. “Did not know Delhi loved us so much. But this also means that we must check our ego and arrogance for arrogance will not let us achieve our mission,” said Kejriwal.Refuting claims that AAP will now go campaigning across India, Kejriwal said ” I have heard that we will fight elections in other states. This is not right. For the next five years I will just serve Delhi and within these five years I can say with confidence that I will remove corruption.”
Aam Aadmi Party chief arvind Kejriwal was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the second time on Saturday, a year after quitting the post over the issue of the Lokpal bill. Kejriwal, who promised to make Delhi the first corruption-free state in the country, was sworn in along with Manish Sisodia and five other ministers by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. In a speech after taking oath, Kejriwal promised that his government would take steps against communal elements and VIP culture, as well as lobby for full statehood for the national capital. However, while praising party workers for their efforts, Kejriwal also warned against the party becoming too arrogant, citing it as the reason why the Congress was removed from power.
